About corporate events

Can attendance be per session rather than for the whole day?

Yes. Every session on the agenda is an event with its own list, so someone can be coming to the keynote and not to the dinner, and the caterer's number is the dinner's number.

How does check-in work at the door?

Each guest's invitation carries a code that scans at the door, and a name search covers anyone whose phone is in a pocket. Several people can check guests in at once and the count stays in step.

Is anything about it wedding-shaped?

No. A corporate event asks for the organisation, not for two families; there are no sides, gifts are off, and the copy throughout says event and attendee rather than wedding and guest.
