Get Jashva on your phone.
Jashva runs in the browser on every device with nothing to install. On Android you can also install it as an app, which we publish ourselves, from this page, with the checksum printed next to it so you can confirm the file is the one we built.
Why the app is not on the Play Store yet
In India, “install this APK” is what a scam says, so it is fair to ask why a wedding app would skip the store. The answer is timing: a Play Store listing goes through a review that can take weeks for a new developer account, and during a wedding season we would rather ship a fix the day it is ready than wait for a review to clear. A Play Store listing will follow. Until it does, this page is the only official source of the Android app, and every build here is signed with the same certificate.

This is the fingerprint Android itself checks when it opens an invitation link in the app. It is published at jashva.com/.well-known/assetlinks.json and will never change without a notice on this page.
What installing it actually looks like
Four steps, and one warning screen you should expect rather than be startled by.

Tap the download button
Chrome asks you to confirm the download because the file is an APK. Tap Download anyway. Nothing is installed at this point — the file is only saved.

Open the downloaded file
From the notification, or from Files under Downloads. Android will say this source is not allowed to install apps, and offer you Settings.

Allow this one app to install
The switch is called Allow from this source, and it applies only to the app you granted it from — usually Chrome or Files, not to the whole phone. You can switch it back off afterwards.

Install, then check the version
Come back and tap Install. Once it opens, the version shown in Settings inside the app should match the version on this page.
Because this app does not come from the Play Store, Android will not update it for you. When a new version is out, come back to this page and install it over the old one — your data stays where it is.
On iPhone and iPad
An APK cannot be installed on iOS, and there is no App Store listing yet. What you can do today is open Jashva in Safari and add it to your home screen: tap the share button, then Add to Home Screen. It opens full screen, keeps you signed in, and behaves like an app for everything except push notifications.

There is nothing to download. Jashva runs in your browser, and the big-screen view is the better one for the long jobs — building the guest list, arranging seating, reconciling the budget. Sign in with the same account you use on your phone.
