Feature · Guest list

Import contacts, track plus-ones, group families.

The guest list is the spine of every other feature — RSVPs, seating, check-in, the photo album. We treat it that way: one source of truth, properly modelled, gently editable.

Import from contacts or CSV

Pull straight from your phone's address book (with consent), or paste a CSV your mom built in Excel. Duplicates get flagged, not silently dropped.

Tag by side, event, and group

Bride's-side / groom's-side, college / school / work, family / friends — tag once, filter forever. Reception-only? Sangeet-only? One filter away.

Plus-ones, properly modelled

Each guest can declare a plus-one with their own name and dietary preference. You see the actual headcount, not 'Rohan + 1'.

Family groupings remembered

Mark a family of four as one unit. Seating, RSVP reminders, and check-in respect the grouping — so you don't seat the kids three tables away from their parents.

Smart filters everywhere

Filter to 'jain vegetarians invited to reception from bride's side, who haven't RSVPed' in three taps. Export. Send a polite nudge.

One contact card per guest

Phone, email, address (for thank-you cards), social handle if you want it. All in one card so you stop hunting through five spreadsheets.

What we don’t pretend to do yet

We do not sync back to your phone

Importing copies the contact into Tanvrit; we do not push edits back to your address book. You stay in control of your own phone's contacts.

Deduplication is conservative

If two entries look like the same person we flag for review — we never auto-merge silently. Better one extra row than a lost guest.

Build your list in an hour.

Import once, refine for a month, lock it the week of the wedding.
